Images n.38 The passionate recovery of an ancient village

28 January 2017

Taking care of the recovery of a village is a very delicate task, especially when this village brings about values, history and unique landscapes. We find ourselves in Avouil, Cervinia: here our craftsmen’s skills had to face not only the architectural challenges, but also the difficulties of a unique natural context.

We are in hometown of the Valdostan climber Jean Antoine Carrel, the first man who reached the Matterhorn peak on the Italian side in 1865.
